Nintendo of Canada Communications Manager Julie Gagnon confirmed the NES Classic Edition will include a pixel perfect option to simulate a CRT’s retro look and a 4:3 aspect ratio display option. The NES Classic comes with 30 games pre-installed, including Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda and Mega Man 2 , but will not support virtual console or digital media.
In our hands-on impressions piece, we said, “With 30 pre-installed games in one light package that can easily be packed in a suitcase or backpack for trips, the Mini NES looks to be a great gift for any gamer, young or old.” There are also Suspend Points which save your progress and can be locked to prevent little gamers from accidentally erasing them.
Looking forward to Nov. 11 and all the retro gaming the Mini NES will allow you to do? Feel free to talk about NES Classic Edition pre-order situation in our comments section below.
