Need a little escapism in your life? There's some great movies coming to Netflix in January 2017, many of them dropping on New Year's Day. These include Boogie Nights, Braveheart, Caddyshack, The Shining, E.T. and the Superman films. Later in the month sees more TV shows and Netflix originals, including A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 1 on Jan. 13 and Japan's well-behaved (and endlessly fascinating) answer to Big Brother, Terrace House: Aloha State Season 1: Part 1 on Jan. 24.
