Following previous reports of the Nintendo NX having force feedback and motion controls , a new report has more details on the mysterious new console.
According to anonymous sources on letsplayvideogames.com , the NX development hardware features a split D-pad, which is unlike the solid pads Nintendo typically uses.
Along with a split D-pad, this new rumor suggests a share button will available on the Nintendo NX for quick and simple sharing between Miiverse, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. Players will be able to share images and video to an external memory device for easier transfer to PC, similar to the share button currently available on PS4 controllers.
Nintendo has been tight-lipped with any information about the NX since its existence was revealed, but constant rumors and reports have turned up almost weekly, ranging from the console being a hybrid home/handheld with detachable controllers to Mario and Pokemon games being part of the NX launch slate.
Nintendo has always made it difficult for players to capture video and images from its consoles while Sony’s PS4 and Microsoft’s Xbox One made it simple and seamless in its design. Nintendo players have had to resort to third-party equipment to get the same results.
If the rumor of a share button on the Nintendo NX is true, it would make a lot of people’s lives easier.
However, until Nintendo officially comes out and reveals the NX, all of these rumors should be treated as such.
So what do you think of these rumored new additions to the NX? Does it make sense or seem too good to be true? Sound off in the comments section below.
