More excellent news from PAX West: gameplay has been released for Ori and the Blind Forest on Nintendo Switch, and we now know how much it’s going to cost you.
Developer Moon Studios revealed the first 20 minutes of the game’s opening sequences and gameplay at PAX West last weekend, showcasing the same beauty, ingenuity, and artistry that made Ori and the Blind Forest such a huge success on Xbox and PC. The gameplay footage showcases the Sunken Glades and Spirit Caverns locations, as well as some iconic Spirit Flame combat.
Ori and the Blind Forest was announced for Nintendo Switch back in August, marking the end of the title’s console exclusivity to Xbox. Scheduled to arrive on Switch in September, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition will be available for just under $20.

Ori and the Blind Forest is the latest among dozens of popular gaming titles and franchises to make the move to the Switch platform, and judging by the popularity of the hybrid console, it won’t be the last.
