People Can Fly upcoming game, Outriders, launches on April 1, 2021. The game hasn’t generated a lot of hype but it already created a decent fanbase. Yesterday, developers released a PC Spotlight and Details trailer where they mentioned all the cool features exclusive for PC players. Official system requirements of the game were also revealed. It seems like the dev team put serious effort into the PC version. There are tons of tweaks that players can make to improve their experience, and the basics are here. You can adjust the FOV (field of view), advanced graphics settings, key mapping, and more.
Outriders for PC also supports Nvidia DLSS, Nvidia Ansel, and Dynamic Resolution. You may tweak as well the game HUD and change the language between 13 different choices.
The game supports 3440x1440 ultra-wide screens so you can be fully immersed in the game world. If you're a console owner, play the game using its crossplay feature. This allows you to play with PC, Google Stadia, and other console players. On top of crossplay, the game supports cross-gen progression, which is very important. If you play the game on PS4, your progress will carry on to the PS5 game version.
Outriders supports:
- Key remapping & advanced graphics options as standard.
- Support for most first-party controllers.
- Interface and subtitle support for 13 languages. Full audio support for nine. Details can be found here.
- A Customizable HUD - full details can be found here.
- Full Cross-Play across all platforms.
- Cross-Save will be supported within an ecosystem, but not between different platforms.
- Ultrawide screen support: 3440 x 1440.
- Adjustable Field of View (FOV), which allows you to see more or less of the game at the edges of your monitor.
- Dynamic Resolution Scaling (DRS) - This system will adjust your resolution on the fly in order to increase performance and prevent system slowdowns or bottlenecks. Theoretically, you shouldn't even notice it's happening, but it will result in significant performance improvements across all systems.
