Payday 2, the co-op first-person game by Overkill Software, is getting post-launch support even after eight years. The developer just released another patch for the game, which is around 143 MB in size. Update 209 is mostly focused on bug fixes, but it also makes some tweaks to the animation of Akimbo CMP.
From now on, players can use skip missions and toggle online or offline in Career Mode via a controller. Contract Filter now has an option for “Safe House Raid.” New players who played the game for less than five hours will get a pop-up message redirecting them to Career Mode. When a bag falls into the water in Scarface Mansion heist, it will respawn faster than before.
We have mentioned some of the other changes that the update makes below:
General
- Fixed an issue where triad members had incorrect values for head damage modifiers.
- Fixed an issue in Career Mode where the UI would show Crew AI as OFF, but it would still appear in-game.
- Fixed an issue where the player's character model could disappear in the lobby.
- Fixed an issue with the Undead Peacock and Hippika masks displaying Inventory notifications every time the game was started.
- Fixed a graphical issue on the Saints & Sinners Outfit when worn by Ethan.
- Fixed a graphical issue on the Padded Moto Azure gloves when worn by certain characters in the lobby and menus.
- Fixed an issue with Czech 92 Akimbo pistols where gadgets spawned clipping through the magazine.
- Fixed an animation issue when reloading the KETCHNOV Byk-1 grenade launcher.
