Plants vs Zombies Heroes will release on Apple and Android later this year but the good folks over at EA and PopCap have released a new video that details Ranked Multiplayer and some of the upcoming features of the mobile character battle game.
Ranked Multiplayer is the big new feature for Plants vs Zombies as players can challenge other players in casual matches or ranked matches to decide who is the Plants vs Zombies Heroes champion.
And if you’re worried that PvZ Heroes will just be a PVP affair, there is a single-player campaign.

The devs at PopCap made sure to make PvZ Heroes very approachable, but did say that the game will have depth in its rules and mechanics like any good CCG should.
There will be superhero plants and zombies that are exclusive to PvZ Heroes plus the classic zombies and the characters from Garden Warfare 2 like Rose.
Unlike any previous Plants vs Zombies mobile game, this is the first time you can play as the zombies so be sure to try them all out.
Plants vs Zombies Heroes is out now in Canada, Brazil and New Zealand. A worldwide release is coming later this year.
