The Halloween Mischief event is set to start in Pokémon GO this October 15. There’s a lot to enjoy for this new event, which is divided into two parts with the first one being Creepy Companions and the second Ghoulish Pals.
There are many to unpack so we’ll just take a quick peek. For starters, new avatar items are set to be available at the in-game shop. The good news is that they are available a day early, on October 14. They will even be available after the event ends. These are:

- Pumpkaboo Pants
- Hoopa Headband
- Halloween Face Sticker

Creepy Companions
The Creepy Companions portion of the event starts October 15 and ends October 22. One of the highlights is that it unlocks the next part of the Season of Mischief Special Research story.
In this one, strange Pokémon have appeared and these include those first discovered in the Galar region. Solve the mystery and learn more about Hoopa. Those able to complete get access to a special event once the season ends.
Ghoulish Pals
Ghoulish Pals follows Creepy Companions and is from October 22 to October 31. This part sees the continuation of the Season of Mischief storyline focused on the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa.
In this one, a new part of the Season-long Special Research gets unlocked during each part of the Pokémon GO Halloween Mischief event. Trainers can expect to see more Psychic-, Ghost-, and Dark-type Pokémon appearing in the wild. There are also new ones being discovered for the first time ever in the game.
