Pokémon Masters EX has launched a new Villain Event Prelude titled Galactic Nightmare. It takes place in the Sinnoh region, the same one from the Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl. The event features Team Galactic in their pursuit to catch Cynthia’s Pokémon.
The event is accessible to those who have finished Chapter 1 of the Main Story. Players able to complete battles earn in-game rewards, which can then be exchanged for items that include 5-Star Sinnoh Scout Tickets. The event ends on January 13.
Welcome Sonia and Yamper
The game also introduces a new sync pair in Sonia and Yamper. This highly versatile electric-type sync pair hails from the Galar region. They can heal allies and use the Catalyzing Recovering passive skill to accelerate the Move Gauge. The two can be obtained in the Sonia Spotlight Scout, available until January 8.
Master Sync Pair
There's also another sync pair to enjoy which is Sygna Suit Cynthia (Renegade) and Giratina. This Ghost-type sync pair can use the move called Ghost Wish. What it does is to change the battlefield to a Ghost Zone, an area where Ghost-type attacks are powered up. For their sync move, the pair has the Renegade Shadow Force. This one deals twice the usual damage in a Ghost Zone.
The two also have a Master passive skill called Sinnoh Flag Bearer, which can power up the entire team. Sygna Suit Cynthia (Renegade) and Giratina can be obtained from the Sygna Suit Cynthia Master Fair Scout, available until February 27.
