In a promotional tie-in with the latest Pokémon Trading Card Game set, GameStop retail locations will distribute a code for Shiny Silvally in Pokémon Sun and Moon starting Oct. 23.
Similar to the Marshadow distribution earlier in the month, Pokémon trainers will have to visit their local GameStop retailer and ask for a Shiny Silvally card to redeem this special Pokémon.
Inputting the code into a trainer’s Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game will only work once per game, so if you want multiple Shiny Silvally, you’ll have to have another game.
To get the Shiny Silvally in your Pokémon Sun or Pokémon Moon game:
Select Mystery Gift on the main menu.
Select Receive Gift.
Select Get with Code/Password, then Yes, and then Yes again to connect to the internet.
Enter your password.
Watch as you receive Shiny Silvally.
Speak to the delivery person in any Pokémon Center to pick up Marshadow.
Be sure to save your game!
The Shiny Silvally GameStop distribution starts Oct. 23 until Nov. 13, so be sure to pick up a code before it’s too late. It’s also not clear when the codes will expire, so be sure to redeem the Pokémon as soon as possible.
This special Shiny Silvally will come at Level 100 and have the attacks Multi-Attack, Parting Shot, Punishment and Scary Face. The Nature of Shiny Silvally is random, so trainers looking for the right Nature for their new Pokémon may want to soft reset their Sun or Moon game.
To Soft Reset your Pokémon game, simply press SELECT, L+R to bring you back to the start menu.
Pokémon Sun and Moon is available now for Nintendo 3DS. Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon will release Nov. 23.
