Are you playing Pokémon Unite? If so, there is a new patch that you can download right now. Update 1.3.1.7 implements adjustments to certain Pokémon, including Slowbro, Venusaur, and Wigglytuff.
It looks like Venusaur users may have to change their playstyles if they’re using Petal Dance on their builds. This is because the effects of the said ability are weakened, meaning both movement speed bonus and damage are now lower.
If that discourages you, the developers did buff Venusaur’s other abilities. Sludge Bomb’s range is increased, allowing you to throw an unsanitary slime farther than before. In addition, Solar Beam’s cooldown is reduced, letting you unleash it more often.
Fans of defender-type Pokémon might be ecstatic to know that Slowbro is getting some massive buffs. For instance, Oblivious' mechanics have been changed.
Before, Slowbro can negate HP lost during combat by hitting enemies with moves. Now, Slowbro can store some HP lost and restore some of that when hitting an opposing Pokémon with a move. The passive also decreases the Sp. Def of the enemy hit for a short time.
While Slowbro players might enjoy the changes, this update might be tough for Wigglytuff users. That is because its Unite Move: Starlight Recital has its shield effect weakened and the duration of its effects reduced.
