The latest patch for Prey is here, which includes support for the PS4 Pro. Additionally, the patch fixes a number of mission bugs and other issues. Unfortunately, this patch does NOT address the incredibly long loading screens, so hopefully that will be included in a future update.
The patch notes come from an official post on the Prey subreddit. Patch 1.04 is available for PS4 users right now and will be coming to PC and Xbox One later this week. No date or time has been confirmed for the PC and Xbox One release as of yet.

While many of these are welcome additions and fixes, players in the comments section on the subreddit are mentioning a number of issues encountered while playing that Patch 1.04 doesn’t address. Popular comments mention framerate drops and loading screen wait times as being issues that haven’t been addressed yet.
Prey did have a rocky launch in terms of technical issues. iDigi’s own Mo Mozuch mentioned an overwhelming number of game crashes he experienced while reviewing the game and IGN was forced to give Prey a four out of ten thanks to save files getting corrupted well into the campaign. That crippling save bug has at least been fixed, so IGN has increased the game’s score to an eight. This comes after Arkane had issues with the PC version of its most recently released game Dishonored 2. Seems like Arkane needs to step it up in the QA department before releasing any more games.
If you encounter any bugs or issues while playing Prey yourself, try getting in contact with reddit user jessBethesda. She’s an official Bethesda employee who can try and help fix your issue or send it along to people who can.
