PUBG has released a sneak peek of the improvements made on Erangel, the game's first map. According to PUBG, the developers have been working to ensure that Erangel will have the same level of polish with the game's more recent maps. In fact the work started back in March, with an initial balance to the loot, followed by the full loot pass.
The changes involve new building styles along with the terrain and scenery being made more realistic. There are also new and changed area to the map with test settings made for an updated Blue Zone.
Like any other Erangel update, the changes will be rolled out on the Test Server first. This is to allow players to experience the map and test the stability while being able to check all the updates. This also allows players to provide feedback before the map goes live later this summer.
