Ubisoft is currently offering Rayman Legends on the Uplay Store for free. This is part of the publisher's plan to help players out during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Many such publishers are giving away games for free so that the players stay occupied while they are under lockdown.
Rayman Legends is a platform game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier and was launched in 2013. Legends is a very good co-op game with so many innovative ideas on every level. The basic theme of the game is to run, jump, and punch. Boss fights are one of the best parts of Legends, featuring stunning ways of defeating each boss. Players will have to find the patterns and movements of each boss fight and then counter the boss accordingly.
Even publishers such as Square Enix are giving out Tomb Raider and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for free. Stores such as Steam, GOG, and Epic Games are also giving out games on a large scale so that players can sit at home and enjoy their time inside playing single-player and multiplayer games. There are also a massive amount of sales going on in the Steam and Uplay Store so you can grab games at a lower price.
On their website, Ubisoft stated that “In the coming days and weeks, we’ll provide additional free offers and trials on games from some of our popular franchises, like Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance, and more! Keep checking back on our free event website to get the latest news and offers.”
So, what are your thoughts on Uplay giving away games for free? Are you planning on grabbing and playing the game while you are under isolation? Personally, I would suggest you get the game as it's free and its pretty fun to play as well. Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
