Over the past couple of weeks in Red Dead Online, it’s been about the Bounty Hunter. This week it looks like other Specialist Roles get the special treatment. We say roles because there are actually two of them.
Moonshiners this week get to earn Double RDO$ and Role XP not only on all Moonshine Story but also on Bootlegger Missions. There’s also 50% off the cost of relocation to the Moonshine Shack. Naturalists are also “seeing double” this week, so to speak. They get twice the Role XP and twice the RDO$.
This Week’s Offers
Those looking to test their competitive skills, meanwhile, get a treat this week. That’s because all Showdown Modes and Races are giving out twice the usual Gold and XP.
So, what else is happening this week? There are the 3,000 Club XP and five Potent Health Cures that players get by simply playing the game. On the other hand, those who have the Outlaw Pass No. 4 get a free Shirt and Hat, both of which are below Rank 15. They even get a Vest for free, which has no rank restriction.
Players who manage to exceed Club Rank 50 get an Offer of 40% off for a Non-Role Pamphlet of their choice.
This week’s discounts over at the Wheeler, Rawson, & Co., isn’t that extensive though. Still, the deals look good enough:
- 30% Off on Multi Horses
- 30% Off on All Pistols
- 40% Off on All Gun Belts & Off-Hand Holsters
- 40% Off on All Coats

That’s it for the week and yes it’s one of those lean updates. Then again it’s rather expected considering Red Dead Online just released a large update last month, which brought changes to the Bounty Hunter. Before that, sometime in July, was the Naturalist update.
If the schedule is followed, that means the next big update would likely be in the middle of this year. Hopefully, we get a somewhat larger update next week.
What about you? What did you think of this update?
