With another week beginning, it’s time for another weekly look at updates coming to Red Dead Online, and for this week there’s a new Legendary Bounty stalking its way to the Bounty Boards. Be wary though, as this prey is also a hunter with his own pack. This week's update also includes a brand-new Collectible List for those who find themselves working with Madam Nazar. Players should also look forward to a new Elimination Series this week, as well as new clothing additions to the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue.
First off, bounty hunters will have their hands full as an estranged and very violent hermit known only as The Wolf Man is wanted for a string of murders. Believed to have retreated into the snowy foothills near Lake Isabella, which is know for its affinity with apex predators like bears and wolves, the path to reach him is very perilous. Carrying Predator Bait is extremely helpful. Completing this Legendary Bounty for the first time yields the Red Strayhorn Boots as an additional reward. This can be accessed through the Boots section of the wardrobe 48 hours after completing the task.
Once this Legendary Bounty has been completed, it will reappear on the Bounty Boards carrying an increased difficulty. Taking him on at four or five stars requires that he be brought alive, but this also comes with the biggest rewards.
Collectors will also have their hands full this week as the Saint Denis Collection heads to the Weekly Collectible List. The list consists of Cognac, Beaulieux Diamond Ring and Beauch êne Ruby Earrings, and Collectors are encouraged to find them all for Madam Nazar or sent through a Post Office by September 30.
This week’s Elimination Series is a great chance to hone those gunslinging skills, as Elimination Series (Free Aim) aims to challenge – and reward – the best marksmen in the West.
New clothing items are also up at the Wheeler, Rawson & Co. Catalogue, including the Chaftin and Olmo shirts to enhance any gentleman’s wardrobe, and the stylish Huerta and Winford Shirtwaists, as well as the new hide-crafted Hadley Skirt for any discerning lady. For footwear, check out the Rutherford Boots, sturdy and reliable across long journeys, and the Strayhorn Boots, perfect for scaling snow-swept peaks across the five states. On the accessories side, check out the Inglett Scarf and the ever-classic Bandana, both of which are sure to turn some heads.
Red Dead Online is now available to play on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
