Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally coming to the PC this November 5! All those years of rumors and leaks are finally paying off. This marks the first time a game in the Red Dead Redemption series is available for the PC. In addition, players who pre-purchase the game through the Rockstar Games Launcher beginning October 9 are going to get special bonuses.
That's not all, as Rockstar Games confirmed as well that Red Dead 2 is also going to be released for the Google Stadia in November.
The PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC comes with a range of graphical and technical enhancements to ensure a better gaming experience. There are also going to be new Bounty Hunting missions, gang hideouts, weapons, and many other additions. The PC version also offers free access to Red Dead Online and includes all previously released improvements as well as the latest content updates.
Red Dead Redemption 2 was released back in October 2018 for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Despite being the third game in the Red Dead series, it serves as a prequel to Red Dead Redemption. The story follows the outlaw Arthur Morgan, who is a member of the Van der Linde gang. It is set in 1899, a period where the American Old West has started to wane with outlaws and gunslingers slowly becoming extinct. Arthur needs to deal with the decline of the Wild West while at the same time attempting to survive against government forces and rival gangs, among others.
As already mentioned, players can pre-purchase Red Dead Redemption 2 beginning on October 9 at 11:00 AM. A limited time offer is being made by Rockstar Games during the pre-purchase period which lasts until October 22. Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC can also be pre-ordered at the Epic Games store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop, and other digital retailers beginning October 23rd. It comes with a pre-order bonus of 25 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online. Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC is going to be available to purchase on Steam this December.
