Rocket League has a new premium car coming based on The Fate of the Furious. The car, based on Dom Toretto’s Dodge Ice Charger from the movie series, will be available starting April 4.
The Dodge Ice Charger will be on sale for $1.99. That includes the vehicle along with a set of exclusive wheels and six new decals: Clean Cut, Crazy Sandwich, Flames, Rakugaki, Rally, and CCCXL. The Fate of the Furious car can be seen in action in the trailer above.
This isn’t the first time Rocket League has partnered with a movie for exclusive DLC. Previous cars include the Batmobile from Batman vs. Superman and the DeLorean time machine from the Back to the Future series. More whimsical DLC packs have included Hot Wheels cars and vehicles from Psyonix’s previous game, Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars. All of these vehicles are still available to purchase if you are so inclined.
Interestingly enough, the Dodge Ice Charger is only the second real-world car to make it into Rocket League. The DeLorean was first, but that’s such a weird looking car anyway, it fits into the Rocket League world. The Charger almost stands out for being so normal looking in a world filled with neon cars with Viking hats on that shoot out rainbows.
The Fate of the Furious comes to theaters on April 14.
