There are already plans for a global relaunch of the Galaxy Note 7. A few markets, including the U.S., Hong Kong and Taiwan are already receiving new models of the Galaxy Note 7 and many more will receive new models in the coming weeks. Tech blog Sammy Hub has compiled a list of countries and their new release dates for the Galaxy Note 7. Check out details below.
Samsung recalled the Galaxy Note 7 last Friday and is offering consumers who purchased the device a chance to exchange their handset for a new Galaxy Note 7, Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge or a full refund, including accessories. The manufacturer is also offering a $25 phone bill credit, or a $25 gift card.
U.S. carriers are not yet selling new Galaxy Note 7 models, but they have set up return or exchange programs of the Galaxy Note 7. Find out here how you can return or exchange your Galaxy Note 7 though your carrier.
Contact Verizon to return or exchange the Galaxy Note 7 with no restocking fee until Sept. 30.
Contact AT&T to exchange the Galaxy Note 7 for a new device and to get a full refund on accessories.
Contact T-Mobile for a full refund and the opportunity to purchase a new device of a different brand or model, or wait for new Galaxy Note 7 models to be in stock.
Contact Sprint for a full refund and an alternate device to use until the Galaxy Note 7 is back in stock.
Contact U.S. Cellular to exchange the Galaxy Note 7 for a new model.
