Have you missed playing classic first-person shooter games? Well, it looks like you only need to wait a few more months as Serious Sam 4 is coming out in August. You heard that right, it’s time to ready those guns and start shooting away at enemies, possibly thousands of them.

Serious Sam was initially released for the PC before versions for different consoles were made available. Serious Sam: The First Encounter was released back in 2001, and received a number of awards.
This latest version is set to offer a lot of new features to players. One of these is the new Legion System, which lets players encounter thousands of enemies. In a video by Devolver Digital, they shared that initially they wanted to have 10,000 enemies in a level. However, the system they made was so good that the number of enemies that could populate a level was even more than that amount.
For battles themselves, players can expect it to be not that easy. While Serious Sam 3 started slow, it appears that Serious Sam 4 is going to have none of that as the action begins right at the first second. This being a new game, players can also expect a lot of new things like like new weapons, new enemies, and even new effects.
Exciting as that is though, there’s a bit of bad news. While the game is confirmed to be arriving for the PC, the other platform it will be released on is going to be Google Stadia. Yup. Aside from the PC it's going to be exclusive for the Stadia. This was revealed in a report by Kotaku. Given this period of exclusivity to Stadia, Kotaku said that it appears console players may have to wait until 2021 to play Sam's latest adventure. While it’s going to be a longer waiting time, at least it’s still going to be arriving for consoles.
