The Sims 4 is all set to launch two new kits to take players from the streets of India and all the way to South Korea. Both are coming out on October 5 and are available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Before we take a look at these two new kits, it’s worth noting that an update was released as part of the preparation. The highlight of this update is the addition of 1,200 variants to some base game items. Read more about it here.
Fashion Street
The Fashion Street Kit is inspired by a location in Mumbai of the same name. Long considered as one of the city’s premier shopping destinations, it isn’t just a fashion hub but a cultural epicenter where everyone can enjoy the architecture, music, and food. Those lucky ones could even see some of Bollywood’s celebrities.
For this kit, players can unlock the unique style that one usually encounters in the area. Players can expect items like nose rings, henna tattoos, and sandals. There are also flowy wrap skirts and even asymmetrical vests.
To make all of this happen, The Sims 4 partnered with Shruti Sitara Singh, who brings her expertise and knowledge on the history of Mumbai’s fashion scene and of Fashion Street. Read more about it here.
Incheon Arrivals
From Mumbai, players head over to South Korea. While the destination is Seoul, they are sure to pass by Incheon International Airport. Incheon doesn’t just have a highly advanced and clean airport, but it also serves as a good introduction to what to expect from the country.
What makes the Incheon Arrivals Kit different is its airport style or airplane fashion. Yes, you read that right. How did this fashion style come to be? It started when K-pop started to gain worldwide popularity. When K-pop stars are seen arriving and departing, whatever they are wearing usually goes viral.
For this kit, The Sims 4 collaborated with Jazzy Cho. While she grew up in Southern California, she started working in South Korea after winning the Miss Korea USA 2016 pageant. Players can look forward to a full wardrobe that Sims can dress in no matter the occasion. It offers semi-formal, as well as casual, pieces. Learn more about it here.
