The biggest stars of the first official snooker game in a generation, Snooker 19, are now on Nintendo Switch. The digital version of the video game can be purchased from the eShop while the physical version is available from retailers like Amazon and GAME.
Hollie Pattison, PR and Marketing Manager at Ripstone, quips in a press statement that the team is excited to see the game being released on Nintendo Switch. Pattison went on to say that this "has been a real passion project for everyone involved, which when coupled with the unprecedented access and support from the team at World Snooker, means that Snooker 19 brings the sport to life like never before.” She went on to share that Lab42 spent extra development time to make sure that the Nintendo Switch version is able to deliver the most authentic experience possible, in addition to the ability to play at home or on the go.

Players are in for the most authentic experience of the sport, with full TV-style presentation and commentaries from the Eurosport team and every official tour sponsor in the game, true-to-life custom-built physics, and advanced artificial intelligence.
Indeed, Snooker 19 sets a new visual standard for snooker video games and has already received critical acclaim from the snooker community for such. Every aspect of real-life snooker has been meticulously re-created in game, even the wood grain details of the STAR Xing Pai tables used. Using 3D facial scanning technology, the game also shows realistic player likenesses.
Players can choose single-player Career Mode or opt to participate in either offline or online multiplayer modes. The game also has a variety of Aiming Aid options available for varying skill levels that range from Amateur to Master. Players can go online at every official tournament to better master the game as Snooker 19 syncs in real-time with the live World Snooker calendar. Players are invited to battle for their place in the rankings and into the Hall of Fame. Exclusive rewards can be redeemed after matches, which can be used to customize their pro player.
Players can join every officially licensed tournament as any of the 128 top snooker players in the world including Mark Selby, Ronnie O’Sullivan, Ding Junhui, and legends of the sport like Ken Doherty and Jimmy White.
