Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order released last November, and the single-player game has continued to receive several post-launch updates that have improved the Jedi experience significantly. Well, it seems that developer Respawn Entertainment isn't done with releasing more content for the game. According to a recent rumor, Respawn is planning new content for Jedi Fallen Order. The information comes from Twitter user Shinobi602, who has proven to share reliable leaks and information in the past.
However, Shinobi602 did not share any other details on what the new content may contain. Therefore, it is uncertain whether it is going to be a story expansion DLC or purely cosmetics.
Besides mentioning Jedi Fallen Order, Shinobi602 also mentioned Doom Eternal, which is also going to be receiving a new story expansion on October 20. The leaker had to remove his tweet shortly after posting it, probably due to confidential reasons. The original tweet stated, “Indeed, ones I intend to replay at least once more. Plus more content coming down the pipe for Doom and Jedi Fallen Order.”
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order did receive a free content update earlier this year, which added new combat challenges as well as a New Journey Plus mode. The update included the following:
- New Journey + added
- Unlocked after beating the game
- All cosmetic unlocks are carried over
- All lightsaber colors are available from the start
- Exclusive dark side-themed cosmetics available in NJ+
- Inquisitor uniform
- Protection and Defence I & II lightsaber parts
- Red kyber crystal
- Meditation Training game modes added as part of NJ+
- Combat Challenges
- Wave-based game modes to fight against preset enemies
- Battle Grid
- Sandbox-style game mode for players to make their own encounters
- Cosmetic rewards for BD-1
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
