The free Games With Gold list for May 2017 has been announced, and it has a whole bunch of Star Wars. If you aren’t into Star Wars, then this is a pretty weak month. Anyway, let’s check out what’s coming to both Xbox One and Xbox 360 in May.
Xbox One Games
The first game coming to Xbox One in May is Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams Director’s Cut. This action-packed 2D platformer requires players to be constantly jumping between two different worlds in order to make it through each level. Giana Sisters will be free to download from May 1 to May 31.
The second game for Xbox One owners in May is Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris. Unlike the typical Tomb Raider games, Temple of Osiris is more of a top-down shooter with co-op puzzle elements. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will be free to download from May 16 to June 15.
Xbox 360 Games
The first game coming to Xbox 360 (and Xbox One via Backward Compatibility) is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2. Following up on February’s free game, The Force Unleashed 2 follows up on the first game as Starkiller’s clone comes looking for revenge. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 will be free from May 1 to May 15.
The last game coming for free in May is LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga. Containing content from the first six Star Wars movies, as well as over 120 playable characters, there hours and hours of fun to be had with this one. LEGO Star Wars The Complete Saga will be free from May 16 to May 31.
