Microsoft and Bethesda's "Starfield" is possibly coming to the PlayStation 5. The game was first released in late 2023, and it has spent more than a year exclusive to the Xbox console and Windows PC gaming platforms.
"Starfield" is only one of the many Microsoft Xbox exclusives that are being planned to be launched on the PlayStation 5, with different franchises such as "Halo," "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle," and more also reportedly coming.
'Starfield' Is Reportedly Coming to the PS5
Fans have recently discovered something interesting in "Starfield" as it has been reported that information about its PlayStation 5 release has been found. However, according to ComicBook Gaming, this was not revealed via an official announcement from Microsoft, Xbox, or Bethesda Softworks, but from the Creation Club feature of the game.
"Starfield's" Creation Club previewed a new in-game item that came in the form of ship decals, and it featured a PlayStation logo in its design that is now seen as a clue. However, it is only speculation from gamers, but many who have seen this new decal are thoroughly convinced that the game will soon make its debut on the Sony console.
Many of Microsoft's exclusive AAA-rated games are transitioning over to other platforms as the company is stepping up as a game distributor in the market. Many rumors have claimed that Microsoft and Bethesda are already working on a port to deliver several titles to the rivaling console, and the initial reports have focused on "Indiana Jones and the Great Circle."
New Paid 'Starfield' DLC?
It has also been reported that Bethesda is working on a new paid DLC for "Starfield" after the company faced criticism for its "Shattered Space" release. It has been rumored that this new DLC will come with the speculated PS5 release.
The game's arrival to the PlayStation 5 has not been confirmed by either Microsoft or Bethesda. The same is also true, as of writing, when it comes to other consoles such as the Nintendo Switch.
