Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town has finally arrived in Nintendo Switch. This is the latest title to arrive under the Story of Seasons franchise, which had its start back in 1996 under the title Harvest Moon.
In the game, players are taken to Olive Town, a seaside community located at the edge of an untamed frontier. Players inherit from their grandfather a dilapidated farm that they need to build back. Throughout the game, players get to meet a lot of unique characters from the Town.
Features of the game include:

- Be able to tame the wilderness and build up the farm.
- Gather and process materials to complete requests and improve the infrastructure of Olive Town.
- A farm full of possibilities
- Don’t forget to clear the land, repair old facilities, and then place new ones.
- Players can level up their farming skills and craft different decorations and facilities.
- Adventure off the beaten path
- Players can explore their farmland and find Earth Sprites.
- Earth Sprites can lead them to mysterious and fantastical lands, including an island in the sky and gardens where seasons never change.
- Olive Town is bustling
- Take part in local festivals and watch the town come to life.
- Get to know more about your neighbors through different events.
In a statement, Game Director Hikaru Nakano shared that it’s not only the game that’s celebrating its 25th anniversary but he is as well, having worked during the early days. He added that he is proud to see the game grow and happy to know just how popular the franchise has become worldwide.
Celebrate 25 Years
With the series celebrating its 25th anniversary, the standalone Expansion Pass for Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is being offered at 15% until April 12.
