‘Injustice: Gods Among Us 2’ Supposed Image Leaks Ahead Of E3

A supposed promo image for the rumored Injustice: Gods Among Us 2 has popped up online and seemingly confirmed the sequel’s existence.

Despite reports and rumors dating back to 2014, NetherRealm nor Warner Bros. Games has confirmed Injustice 2 ; however, with E3 2016 around the corner and NetherRealm Studio’s penchant for surprising fans (like how Mortal Kombat X’s announcement surprised fans at E3 2014) it’s very possible we’ll see confirmation of the game’s release soon.

UPDATE: The official Injustice 2 reveal is happening Wednesday at 9am EST.

Take a look at the alleged leaked Injustice 2 promo image showing off Batman and The Flash.

Polygon also found a leaked Injustice 2 promo poster featuring the same image.

Some interesting tidbits from the Injustice 2 image include a green aura surrounding the Dark Knight. This seems to indicate that Batman will have access to a Green Lantern power ring, something Bruce Wayne has had in his possession in the past.

To add fuel to the Injustice 2 rumor fire is NetherRealm’s Ed Boon who has taken to Twitter, again, to tease something.

Boon posted a photo of a character model’s leg. Whether that leg has anything to do with Injustice 2 is not yet known, but Boon has done this type of teasing in the past when NetherRealm was slowly revealing Mortal Kombat X characters.
