A brand new trailer for Super Mario Run has been released and showcases some of the game mechanics and modes that will be available with the first Nintendo mobile game.
Secret unlockable characters were also revealed in the brand new Super Mario Run trailer and include Luigi, Yoshi and Toad.

The Toad Rally game mode in Super Mario Run lets players face off in timed challenges. You’ll go through the same course as a friend or rival and it’s your job to collect as many coins as possible within the time limit.
It’s not just coin grabbing that determines the winner; how you move Mario through the course dictates how many Toads appear to cheer you on. Do some cool moves like wall jump and you’ll gain more Toads.
The combined amount of coins and Toads that appear decides the winner.
Kingdom Builder is another game mode that allows players to create their own Kingdom by using the coins they gather on their runs to purchase buildings and decorations.
Certain buildings unlock bonus games to win items or unlock other characters, such as Luigi. Each character has their own special moves like Luigi’s ability to “skywalk” or Yoshi’s ability to float long distances.
Toad will be unlocked as a MyNintendo Reward so be sure to sign-up for an account.
Super Mario Run will release for iOS on Dec. 15 and players can purchase the entire game for $9.99.
