Kuku becomes free agent after leaving TNC. TNC

TNC Predator has shown the world that they are a strong team when it comes to Dota 2. Unfortunately, their run at The International 2019 was not enough (although the Filipino squad did take home a massive prize). Despite pulling what seems to be their best TI performance so far, the team will be facing some significant roster changes.

Carlo Palad, better known as Kuku, has had a fair amount of ups and downs with TNC Predator. Nonetheless, they were the team known for defeating OG at The International 2016. Ever since, the Filipino Dota 2 team has proven themselves as a force to be reckoned with.

Just recently, Kuku announced via Twitter that he is looking for a team. However, TNC has yet to make an official statement following Kuku’s tweet. In fact, his name is still in the description of the esports organization’s official Twitter page.

Since there is no clarification or official statement from TNC, it is very likely that the decision was made by Kuku himself. But as to why he decided to leave the organization, your guess is just as good as mine.

Kuku has spent nearly three years of his Dota 2 career with TNC. His performance at the recently concluded TI9 showed that he is one of the best offlaners out there. And considering how powerful his skills are, there is no doubt that teams will add him to their squad. It seems the post-TI9 roster shuffle is looking to be quite interesting already.

Kuku also made waves after getting banned from joining The Chongqing Major for reportedly using a racial slur against a Chinese player in a pub game chat. After serving his ban, he later on returned to TNC and helped them turn the entire season around. It is very unlikely for Kuku to receive offers from a Chinese team, but Mineski could be a very plausible option.

Also, there are rumors suggesting that Lee “Heen” Seung Gon, the current TNC coach and Dota 2 legend, will be leaving the team. It is unclear whether he intends to continues his career as a coach. Perhaps we will see him as a player once again.
