Touhou: New World is finally out worldwide digitally for PC through Steam. The Steam release also offers a Digital Deluxe Edition which includes the soundtrack and a digital artbook. Players in North America and Europe can also enjoy the Nintendo Switch version.
Game Story
Touhou: New World brings players to the supernatural world of Gensokyo. It's a place considered home to humans and spirits called youkai. While life for the residents here is far from idyllic, it is uneventful most of the time.
However, that changes when the mystical barrier protecting it is breached by an outside force obsessed with the supernatural realm. This outside force wants to bring chaos to Gensokyo and the world beyond.
The task to stop this now falls to the shrine maiden Reimu and her magician friend Marisa. They must learn more about the true source of the chaos and bring back peace to both worlds. Along the way, they'll be dodging magical bullet barrages and fighting a menagerie of mystical creatures.

Game Editions
Touhou: New World is available digitally on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam for $24.99. A Digital Deluxe Edition is offered on Steam for $34.77. You can also choose to buy the extras separately with the soundtrack priced at $9.99 and the digital artbook at $4.99.
Versions for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 are planned for release in North America and Europe on September 12.
