There we have it. Some of the Uncharted games have finally been confirmed for PC. However, unlike the previous rumor, not all Uncharted games are coming to PC. Sony announced yesterday during their showcase event that Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection will release on PS5 and PC in early 2022.
Legacy of Thieves Collection will only contain remasters of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and its standalone expansion, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. So, if you were hoping for Uncharted 1 to 3 on PC, tough luck. That ain’t happening.

Sony announced the PS5 and PC versions with a brand-new trailer that you can watch above. Keep in mind that this is not just a simple port. Sony is selling this collection as a remaster of both games, meaning PS5 players will have to purchase this item. It is not a free upgrade.
The developer didn’t reveal what kind of advantages the PC players can expect. We also don’t know if the remaster contains the multiplayer portion or not. More information about the collection will be revealed as we get closer to the release date.
PC Port Developer
Sony announced that the PS5 version will release first, and the PC version will release shortly after. The PC port is being developed by Iron Galaxy. The said developer is well known for releasing ports of different games. They were behind the Switch port of Overwatch, and the PC port of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited Trilogy. Given their history, I am not worried about how the port will end up.
More Games
Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection will be the latest PS-exclusive game to release on PC. Sony has already released Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone. There are still tons of PS games that PC players will love, like the God of War (2018), Spider-Man (2018), Ghost of Tsushima, and Bloodborne.
Opinion
The release of Uncharted games on PC is a big move for Sony. As a PC player, the last time I was this excited was when the PC version of the Halo: Master Chief Collection was announced. However, it’s still a shame that we won’t be able to play the first three games on PC. But who knows, maybe if the sales of Legacy of Thieves are impressive, then Sony might be tempted to port the rest of the games as well.
