Pokémon Masters EX received a new update that introduces different Spring-themed content. It also introduced new sync pairs and a new in-game story event.
The update brings some special versions of Burgh and Togepi clad in Spring outfits as well. The pair is now able to make use of Metronome, which allows them to have one of several moves at random. Spring outfits are also now available for May and Lopunny. For abilities, May and Lopunny can now change their attacks from Normal-type to Fighting-type after they use their sync move in battle. The two sync pairs are available until April 15.
Egg Hunt
The "Pasio Eggsplorers" event has started and will last until April 15. This is available for players who finished Chapter 1 of the Main Story. It features Burgh and May, both in their respective Spring outfits, as they join an egg hunt in Pasio island. In-game rewards can be earned by collecting, as well as exchanging, Togepi-themed, Buneary-themed, Torchic-themed, and Lucario-themed eggs.
Content Updates
The new update introduces the Kalos Champion Diantha, along with her Pokémon partner Gardevoir, in the sync pair spotlight scout until April 21. This Fairy-type can use moves like Moonblast and Dazzling Gleam. The pair can also mega-evolve into Mega Gardevoir even while still in battle. Once the evolution is complete, it powers up the pair’s Fairy-type moves and at the same time unlocks a new passive skill.
In the Legendary Arena, players can now go against the powerful Legendary Pokémon Latias. The Latias appears along with Flygon and Alakazam until April 13.
Finally, there’s the Champion Stadium where players get to battle the Champion of a particular region and the Elite Four. The Unova region’s Champion Stadium challenge starts April 4 and lets players battle the Unova Elite Four:
- Grimsley and Liepard
- Marshal and Conkeldurr
- Shauntal and Chandelure
- Caitlin and Reuniclus
Depending on the week, players who defeated the Elite Four can fight against Iris and Hydreigon or Alder and Volcarona. The challenge for that stadium ends May 2.
