In American Horror Story Season 6 episode 1, which airs at 10 p.m. EDT Wednesday, the anthology’s theme finally will be revealed. While many rumors and l eaks over recent months have hinted at the storyline Season 6 may follow, show creators, cast and FX itself has been extremely tight-lipped about what viewers can expect.
As an anthology, each season of American Horror Story depicts a plot different from any other season in the series. However, Executive Producer Ryan Murphy has revealed in recent years that all seasons of AHS are connected and exist within the same universe. Season 6 in particular, is expected to be connected to Season 1 .

FX CEO John Landgraf said in August that of the more than 20 teasers released to market the season, only one truly depicts the goings-on of the first episode of Season 6. There happens to be one trailer, of the same name , featuring a four-legged creature charging at the screen with glowing eyes.
A recent theory from The Huffington Post suggested the season may follow a Charles Manson theme, suggesting that a clue may be hidden in plain sight in another Season 6 teaser.
