In Pretty Little Liars Season 7 episode 4, which airs at 8 p.m. EDT Tuesday, the Liars are freaking out after a fateful night that ended up with Alison’s husband, Elliott Rollins, dead. At the end of episode 3 , Hanna hit the doctor with her car as she, Aria, Emily and Spencer followed him. He’d taken Alison from the Welby State Psychiatric Hospital where she was being treated. However, Elliot was tampering with her treatment to make her appear more ill and the Liars were on to him.
Alison was able to help the Liars track their whereabouts using GPS, but as they followed, Alison was able to escape her husband by jumping out of the car and running. Alison darted in front of Hanna’s moving car as they approached, which distracted her as Elliott, who was chasing Alison, ran in front of the car and was subsequently hit. His head went straight through the car’s windshield, and the liars were certain he was dead.
In a promo video for episode 4, the Liars bury Elliott’s body in the woods and hide evidence of killing him. The Liars are certain they have left no evidence of what happened. However, Toby, an officer with the Rosewood police department, realizes that the person they knew to be Elliott Rollins is actually using the name of a dead man. At this time, he is unaware that the person they’ve been in contact with is now also dead. Will Toby figure out that the Liars killed Elliott? We will find out in the upcoming episode, called “Hit and Run, Run, Run,” which is best viewed on television or live online through Freeform Live .
All of the Liars are extremely shaken after the accident. Hanna had to shower Elliott’s blood off her and pick pieces of windshield glass out of her hair. Spencer occupied her time with cleaning up the mud off the floor after they buried Elliott.
Meanwhile, the Liars will get a shock when they realize Jenna is back in Rosewood. They are having drinks at the Radley Hotel when Jenna enters. We can confirm that Jenna is once again blind. She tells the liars she is in town because of Toby’s recent engagement. As usual, the Liars are unsettled with Jenna’s presence particularly Hanna, whom Jenna congratulates on her engagement. However, Hanna recently broke up with her fiancé during episode 3.
