The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be getting the “Game of the Year” treatment, with all released DLC getting included in one package. This information comes from a posting found on Amazon, and has since been confirmed in a press release from developer CD Projekt RED.
Called The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition , the disc will contain the base The Witcher 3 game along with the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansions. The New Game+ mode and bonus 16 pieces of free DLC, mostly just cosmetic options, are also included as well.
As of right now, The Witcher 3 Complete Edition listing has an Aug. 30 release date, which makes sense seeing as how that’s a Tuesday. Games and DVD/Blu-rays typically get released on Tuesdays. Most surprisingly, the Complete Edition is listed at $49.99, so you can get the entire The Witcher 3 package for less than the price of a new game. That’s quite the steal.
While the listing on Amazon only mentions an Xbox One copy, PS4 and PC versions are confirmed as well.
So what do you think? Are you going to pick up The Witcher 3 now that you can get the complete game on one disc? Have you already played through the game and both DLCs? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
