Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble was released March 24 for iOS and Android devices. If you were a fan of the first Yo-Kai Watch game for the Nintendo 3DS, you may see some different faces in the mobile game.
Names like Lie-in, Sgt. Burly and Tublappa are all new Yo-kai that were not featured in the first main Yo-Kai Watch game. That’s because these Yo-kai are from the second game that was released in Japan in 2014 and is currently unavailable in the West.
However, fans can get to know some of the new Yo-kai in Wibble Wobble before the inevitable western Yo-Kai Watch 2 release date by moving your way through each level.
With every step, you’ll have to battle a different Yo-kai and a chanceto add them to your Medallium of Yo-kai information. There, you can see the stats of the new Yo-kai from Yo-Kai Watch 2 along with what food can sway them to join your ranks. It’s a very helpful little guide to bolster your team.
Wibble Wobble is a brand new mobile game where instead of having the normal Yo-Kai Watch battles, you have to match small versions of your team called wib wobs. Each match has the specific Yo-kai grow in size and you can pop them with a tap to inflict damage to the opposing Yo-kai. The larger the wib wob, the more damage is dealt.
