Black Myth: Wukong features challenging bosses that will test players' skills. You will fight many of these enemies as you progress through the campaign and explore the land.
Your equipment can sometimes spell the difference between victory and defeat. This guide helps players know which are the best weapons and how to get them.
It also features a lot of different weapons that each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Many of these can be found as you wander through and complete side content and hidden missions.
Spider Celestial Staff
This particular weapon encourages the use of charged heavy attacks so you can get bonus healing from its passive ability. There is also a specific build that takes advantage of The Destined One being poisoned, according to TheGamer.
If you use a charged heavy attack while having this status, you will also be able to poison your enemies. These have a good chance of being powerful due to the weapon's bonus +12% critical chance.
This weapon can be crafted as an upgrade to the Chitin Staff after you defeat the Violet Spider boss in Chapter 4.
Visionary Centipede Staff
A lot of the new weapons that you can get are usually those that you upgrade from the weaker ones that you have. Some also have branching trees that have different stats and buffs. The Visionary Centipede Staff can also heal with charged heavy attacks.
However, it does not deal poison damage and instead will deal more damage if you use it against an enemy that is already poisoned. It also has a slightly lower +10% critical chance.
Similar to the Spider Celestial Staff, this weapon can be crafted from the Chitin Staff after finishing Chapter 4.
Dark Iron Staff
This weapon is one of the best endgame weapons available in Black Myth: Wukong. The Dark Iron Staff's passive increased its attack based on your defense stat. It's simple but the bonus that it gives is powerful, said RockPaperShotgun.
Additionally, you can use this weapon alongside the Bull King armor set that increases your defense every time you are damaged. The main issue with this weapon is that it can only be acquired in New Game Plus after beating the Bishui Golden-Eyed Beast.
Jingubang Staff
Arguably the strongest weapon in Black Myth: Wukong is the Jingubang Staff that has an Attack stat of 135. It also raises your critical chance by 6%. If you are wearing the Sun Wukong's Armor, any critical hit you deal will reduce the cooldown of spells.
This weapon's power comes at a price, which is how difficult it is to actually get. It can only be obtained in the final chapter and requires you to take down four different bosses.
These are Gold Armored Rhino, Cloudtreading Deer, Feng-Tail General, and Emerald-Armed Mantis, according to The Gamer.
