Publisher Neowiz and developer Round8 Studio have just announced that their free-to-play open-world action adventure RPG title Bless Unleashed will soon be released for PC in early 2021. The game was originally launched for the Xbox One on March 12 of this year.
Bless Unleashed is an MMORPG set in the world of Lumios, where “chaos and order are always in conflict,” with its gods and deities following suit. Players can play from four races, each with their own strengths, weaknesses, abilities, and unique lore. First are the Humans, which comprise most of the population of Lumios. They are naturals at adapting and surviving. Next are the ancient Elves, who were once immortal but now are forced to join alongside other races after the Tragedy of the Breaking. They are the most magically inclined out of all four races. The Varg come next, who are fierce warriors and are natural born berserkers. Last is the Ippin race, who are the youngest out of all the races. Small and weak physically, their advantages lie in their technological innovations and resourcefulness.
As for the game’s classes, players can choose from:
- Berserkers, fearless warriors who serve as the game’s main damage dealers with their large AOE attacks and two-handed weapons.
- Crusaders, who strike a balance between offense and defense with their sword and shield.
- Mages should be self-explanatory, and are equipped with magic that can control the battlefield with crowd-control or high damage skills.
- Priest, who bend the archetypal support role with their ability to dish out consistent damage.
- Rangers, who can provide constant DPS with their range and provide self-peel with their traps and snares.
As with any other MMORPG, success mostly comes from whether you are committed to the time sink that is its genre. Bless Unleashed is not exempt from this, but it tries to remedy that issue by implementing unique combo systems for each class, making combat unique for each player. Its success on the PC, however, will be dictated by how big the player base can get and if it can be maintained in the long run.
Bless Unleashed will launch for the PC via Steam in Early 2021.
