Blizzard Entertainment looks to make a splash at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con by bringing fans some awesome ways to enjoy the city and keep cool at the same time.
To celebrate the recent Knights of the Frozen Throne expansion for Hearthstone, Blizzard will be setting up some cool (heh) fan events for con goers and just anyone who happens to be in the area.
The first fan event is the Hearthstone Tavern which will be held On Saturday, July 22. Fans can enjoy complimentary food, drinks and a variety of games at gastropub Knotty Barre (located at 844 Market St).
In addition to the Hearthstone Tavern event, Blizzard will be hosting the Ice Cream Citadel from July 20-23 at Petco Park, across the street from the San Diego Convention Center. Visitors will receive free ice cream and get a chance to meet Blizzard’s most infamous villain, The Lich King, on his Frozen Throne.
Fans having trouble getting to the Blizzard Hearthstone events can enjoy a Lich King-themed pedicab that can take to you from the convention center to all of Blizzard’s events. Also, none of these events will require a SDCC ticket to attend.
