Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! announced its arrival on Android and iOS mobile devices. Now, players can get this game for free on respective app stores. In this game, players must work their way across mysterious lands and defeat the minions of Dr. Neo Cortex. Crash won’t be doing things alone since his sister Coco will lend a hand.
The game is being developed and published by King through an exclusive license with Activision. If you’re a long-time mobile gamer, that name should be familiar. King is a gaming studio that’s known mainly for match-three games. Its best-known title is none other than Candy Crush Saga.
Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! offers a gameplay experience that can be described as unforgettable. Expect the usual running challenges but what makes the game even more exciting are features that bring depth and progression to the game. These include collection runs, time trials, crafting, and even base building.
Players should also be happy to know that regular updates are set and would introduce, among others, new cosmetic items plus classic and creative new skins.
As a mobile game, it’s not surprising to learn that it includes social features like Teams and Survival Runs. Players can form a team with friends or chat with other Bandicoot fans and group together.
While Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! is indeed a new game, it’s set in the Wumpa Archipelago where fans of the franchise are sure to recognize many of the regions. These include The Lab, The Lost City, Turtle Woods, and Temple Ruins. There are also classic enemies and bosses, such as Scorporilla, Nitrus Brio, and Fake Crash.
