Not only is the PS4 release of Death Stranding just around the corner, but its PC port has also been officially announced. With that in mind, right now is indeed the perfect time to be interested in the Death Stranding launch trailer that just appeared.
The game’s launch trailer arrived just ahead of its official PS4 release. Mind you, it is eight minutes long and you can check it below.
If you have not noticed yet, the launch trailer still does not make a whole lot of sense. Well, it is not like it is a new thing – people have gotten the same with previous trailers. After all, it is just hard to decipher things when there are a lot of crying babies around, not to mention the talk of presidents and bridge builders. However, there is more to all of this, especially since there are also lots of snippets of gameplay to go with all the conversations you hear in the trailer.
Death Stranding features the idea that America needs to be rebuilt. Sam Bridges, played by The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus, is the delivery man who is going to make this possible. While it still remains to be seen, the way he will do this is likely by connecting people and activating network terminals with the help of a baby. Again, there is a lot to discover and you will certainly do so once you get a chance to explore the game.
The launch trailer certainly looks like nonsense, which is pretty much what the other trailers offered as well. But hey, it is definitely an interesting one. While it is still too early to tell, people are already expecting Kojima and company to keep them on their feet with an unconventional narrative that will probably spawn dozens of questions and surprises.
Death Stranding launches on PS4 on November 8, but will also launch a PC port in early summer of next year.
