It Takes Two was one of the best games released last year, which also won GOTY at The Game Awards 2021. It’s surprising to see a small studio sweep an award function, especially in an industry dominated by massive AAA studios.
Last year’s GOTY at DICE Awards was won by Hades, an indie game. It defeated behemoth titles like The Last of Us Part 2, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and Ghost of Tsushima.
