Dragon Quest Treasures is officially launched on Nintendo Switch, with the game letting players follow Erik and Mia as the siblings go on their childhood adventure to look for the seven fabled Dragonstones. If the names sound familiar, that’s because they’re from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age.
Those who buy the Digital Deluxe Edition not only get the base game but also the three monster allies Great Sabrecat, Ruby Golem, and Icy Dragling. In addition, they also get batches of Bestest Buddy Bullets and Omniheal Bombs.
In the game, players take on an extraordinary journey across the mysterious world of Draconia. The two won't be by their "lonesome" since they're joined by their cute companion creatures, Purrsula and Porcus. There are also the monster pals that can be recruited as they look for those boundless treasures. Players can tap into the unique abilities of these monsters to reach areas otherwise inaccessible and of course, discover hidden treasures.
As Erik and Mia, players need to defend against monsters and rival gangs until they can return to the base and have their treasures appraised. By collecting treasures, players can increase the value of their vault and expand their home base, allowing them to build up their party of friendly monsters even further.
