Developer SCS Software has launched an update for the beta branch of Euro Truck Simulator 2. Update 1.43 features new roads, transport routes, and a major reskin of the City of Lyon, and so much more.

The City of Lyon, the third-largest city in France, considered a major hub for logistics and transportation, has received a big overhaul.
Most of the things that you can see here have been changed. The developers said that the layout is reworked to make things look more realistic. You can expect four new junctions, including two areas that allow truckers to load and unload their stuff from local industries.
Three new landmarks have been added as well. They are the Viaduc de Perrache, the Musée des Confluences, and the Groupama Stadium. Older vegetation models have been replaced with new ones to give the city a fresh and vibrant look.
New Roads and Transport Routes
The people responsible for developing the Special Transport DLC came up with new routes for you to explore. These routes are:
- Daugavpils to Rezekne
- Soria to Teruel
- Galati to Iasi
- Cagliari to Sassari
- Gothenburg to Helsinborg
- Brest to Rennes
- Bremen to Travemunde
- Warszawa to Katowice
These transport routes feature new missions for you to complete. Take note that they will require your focus, skill, and attention, so be sure to be ready for what lies ahead.
In addition to transport routes, there are also new Iberia roads in Update 1.43. The devs consider Iberia to be a popular destination based on community feedback. That said, they’ve decided to revisit this place and bring new content in the form of new country roads.
The first road can be found north of Madrid that links the A-1 and A-2 highways. The second road can be found in the south of Portugal that starts near Sines and ends in Spain while passing by Beja.
Fully Customizable Dumpers
Those who have been wanting to get their Dumper Trailers in the game will be excited to know that you can now get them. Dumpers are now ownable and can be fully customized.
For the uninitiated, these trailers are commonly used for transporting bulky materials. And if you are using the right-sized dumper, it can even be used for moving different cargos.
