Final Fantasy 14: Shadowbringers has released Patch 5.11 which introduces a new type of gameplay experience to players. This is a nice surprise considering that Patch 5.1, Vows of Virtue, Deeds of Cruelty, was released just two weeks ago.
New Raid
So what does Patch 5.11 bring to the game? For one it adds an Ultimate Difficulty Raid, “The Epic of Alexander.” The challenge is inspired by the tragic tale of a mechanical god who placed his trust in a single mortal soul. This newest Ultimate difficulty raid is sure to push even the most skilled players to their limits as they battle many foes from the Alexander raid series.
To take part in this raid, players need to complete Eden's Gate: Sepulture (Savage) and then speak with the Wandering Minstrel in Kugane as a Disciple of War or Magic level 80. Players then need to form a party of eight and access this raid through the Raid Finder. However, all members of the party must have completed Eden's Gate: Sepulture (Savage). The time limit is 120 minutes.
New Gameplay
Another new thing coming is the Crafter and Gatherer Content titled “Ishgard Restoration." This new content is sure to excite players. For this addition, players across Worlds need to work together in order to restore the Firmament district to its former glory. Players need to collect and craft construction materials to complete various tasks. This means that each player can contribute in their own unique way. That said, players who take part in this restoration project receive various rewards for their contributions. To be able to take part in this new quest, players need to be at least Level 60 and complete the "Litany of Peace" quest.
There are also new mounts, new minions, and new emotes coming. Housing furnishings, as well as new hair styles, are set to arrive as well.
That's not all, though, as Square Enix also gave a tease for what's coming in Patch 5.15 which is:
- PvP Frontline Map: “Onsal Hakair (Danshig Naadam)” (Patch 5.15)
- Grand Companies join forces with the tribes of the Azim Steppe to fight in the Danshig Naadam and demonstrate their battle prowess.
- Blue Mage Updates (Patch 5.15)
- This limited job is going to have its level cap raised to 60 with players receiving new job quests, additional Masked Carnivale stages and the introduction of the Blue Mage Log.
