A new update for Genshin Impact is arriving on November 2. Version 3.2 or "Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises" sees the main storyline of Sumeru culminate in a climax before it comes to a grand finale. This upcoming update also introduces more local allies like Nahida and Layla, and fun events and improvements.
Going back to the storyline, "Akasha Pulses, the Kalpa Flame Rises" serves as the conclusion to the Sumeru Archon Quest. The Traveler has teamed up with different characters to rescue Nahida from The Doctor's nefarious plot with the Akademiya. However, the third Fatui Harbinger boss appears to stand in their way.
During the epic boss fight, The Balladeer is going to transform into a massive mechanical-looking puppet with two forms and multiple elemental abilities. In this last stand, a little floating device could be the key to turning the tide.
New Playable Characters
One of the new playable characters is Nahida, aka the current Dendro Archon. She's not a new character and has been the reliable ally of the Traveler in the main storyline. As a playable character, Nahida joins the roster as a five-star Dendro catalyst. She's able to cast a unique viewfinder-ish skill by holding her Elemental Skill to mark, link, and deal additional Dendro damage to opponents. She can enhance her power even further if she teams up with Pyro, Electro, or Hydro characters.
The second playable character is Layla, an Akademiya student in Astrology who can sleepwalk to reveal her true power. During combat, she wields a sword and the power of Cryo. She can provide not just shielding but also Cryo damage for the team.
New Events
There are many events available once the new update arrives. There's the "Fabulous Fungus Frenzy" where players need to catch and train Fungi to battle in different challenges. Another event is "Adventurer's Trials," in which players must be ready for some tricky trials that can be completed using trial characters like knocking Slimes into the Vine Goal by triggering an Overloaded reaction with Yanfei's and Klee's attacks.
Be on the lookout as well for the new Dendro Hypostasis, which is going to complete the puzzle of the Hypostasis family. This one serves as a new open-world boss and a part of the challenge "Hypostatic Symphony."
New Improvements
The update is also bringing improvements to the current gaming experience. Players should be happy to know that the "Replication System" will be introduced to the Serenitea Pot system. What this means is that players should be able share their realm designs or implement others' in their Teapot.
In addition, Italian and Turkish languages become available in the Game Language settings starting with Version 3.3.
Genshin Impact is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, and iOS.
