A new update is arriving to Genshin Impact this December 7. Version 3.3 is titled "All Senses Clear, All Existence Void" brings two new allies along with a new season of events and an exciting addition that players will surely love.
However, for the storyline, Scaramouche has been defeated in the main story of the Archon Quest. As the Wanderer, Scaramouche now walks on a different path under the custody of Gahida. In the new Archon Quest Interlude Chapter titled "Inversion of Genesis," players now head to Irminsul with the Wanderer to learn more about how the story unravels.
New Allies
The Wanderer joins the roster as a playable character and is a five-star Anemo catalyst wielder, who can hover and attack mid-air. His power is enhanced when coming into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro.
Another new ally is Faruzan who joins as a new four-star Anemo archer. She is an ageless Akademiya genius in mechanics. During combat, she uses a bow as her weapon while providing support to teammates through Anemo DMG bonus effects along with weakening the Anemo resistance of the enemy.
The Wanderer, Faruzan, and Arataki Itto's rerun are going to be featured in the early stage of Version 3.3's Event Wishes. The latter half, meanwhile, sees the rerun of Raiden Shogun and Kamisato Ayato.
New Events
There are new events and challenges that players can do once Version 3.3 goes live. In the season special titled "Akitsu Kimodameshi," players meet Arataki Itto and try to master a series of "brick-breaker" mini-games. Meanwhile, a special event "Across the Wilderness" has players collect Wilderness Balloons within a limited time. Players can also look forward to classic hide-and-seek game "Windtrace" along with the challenge event "Misty Dungeon."
A TCG
The upcoming update is also set to introduce the Genius Invokation TCG, a trading card game that offers the element-based combat system of Genshin Impact with strategy development. Players and NPCs can fight against each other using their card collection.
To win a match, players need to defeat all of the Character Cards of the enemy using Normal Attacks, Elemental Skills and Elemental Bursts of their own Character Cards. That means they need to plan ahead and swap Character Cards to trigger Elemental Reaction. Players can also apply buffs and effects with different Action Cards. The thing is, when players do the actions mentioned, they use up a certain amount of Elemental Dice. This means that dice rolling at the start of each round becomes an important aspect of the gameplay.
Remember that the more NPC card players defeat, the more cards and Dynamic Skins players can redeem from the Card Shop.
Genshin Impact is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, and iOS.
