Developer Netmarble has a new game in the works, which is the 4X strategy simulation Grand Cross W. It features 2D anime-style graphics and allows players to experience the excitement of strategic and large-scale battles. If you want to try the game, there’s a beta test happening from August 19 to August 28. The game is available on PC and Android.
The story of Grand Cross W is set in the world of Skyna, fighting against the invading armies of Chaos. Players join forces with Layla, the game’s main hero, to build armies, construct buildings, and train troops. To win battles, players need to summon heroes from other worlds and use the magical power of Lapis.
Players can lead multiple troop types to battles like infantry, archers, cavalry, and combat engineers. The archers let players attack across rivers while air units can cross tall mountain ranges.
The game features large-scale, real-time, immersive siege wars on both land and air. There’s a variety of game modes available for players to enjoy, including:
- Single Player stages
- World (Field) and Capturing
- Castle War
- Server vs. Server War
- Story Chapters and Territory Expansion
- Territory Customization
