GTA Online continues to add more and more content, and this week there’s a flashy new car, a new adversary mode and much more. Oh yeah, and don’t forget all the opportunities to earn double GTA money and RP.
First up is the Pegassi Torero. This car looks like it’s straight out of GTA Vice City, especially when it comes in pink. If you needed another reason to get one of these cars, outside of how sleek it is, the doors are scissor doors. This means Russ Hanneman would definitely be a fan.
The new adversary mode is called Power Mad, and is available to play now. This mode is sort of like a team-based King of the Hill mode, with two teams of up to four players fighting for control of a strong power-up called the Juggernaut. If you get the Juggernaut power-up, your character will get super heavy armor and a massive gun to mow down the other team. Once one team has the power-up, they must keep the Juggernaut alive long enough to score a point. The other team must do all they can to kill the Juggernaut and get the power-up back.
Those who play Power Mad will earn double GTA money and RP from now through July 31, so make sure you get a squad together as soon as possible to try out the new mode.
As for this week’s discounts, those looking to stock up on new weapons need to get to an Ammu-Nation. All handguns, machine guns, submachine guns, sniper rifles and assault rifles will be 25 percent off through July 31. Additionally, engine upgrades for vehicles are also 25 percent off.
If you’re still working on unlocking the Gunrunning weapons attachments, Bunker Research technicians are also working 25 percent faster until July 31. Additionally, the weapon and vehicle workshop modules for the Mobile Operations Center are 25 percent off as well.
Lastly, there is a new premium race and time trial to compete in, from today to July 31. Like other premium races, finishing in the top three will earn you a large sum of GTA money, and everyone who races will earn triple RP. Similarly, beating the par time for the time trial will earn players a large sum of cash and triple PR as well.
The premium race this week is Trench III, which is locked to bikes only. The time trial is Cypress Flats. These races can be found on the Quick Job app or the yellow corona at Legion Square.
