It’s a new week, which means new content coming to GTA Online. Like last week, there’s a new vehicle available to purchase, along with double GTA$ and double RP opportunities. Let’s dig into everything that’s new.
First up is the Insurgent Pick-Up Custom. This armored weapon of a truck can now be purchased through the Mobile Operation Center’s Weapon and Vehicle Workshop. Not only is the truck available to buy, but a number of weaponized upgrades can be added, such as a .50 cal mounted minigun and proximity mines.
If you want to earn double the money and XP, keep on playing the new Power Mad adversary mode until Aug. 7. Additionally, playing the Deadline adversary mode will also earn double the rewards as normal. If you would rather do missions instead of adversary modes, all Mobile Operation Missions will earn double rewards as well.
If you’re looking to save the cash you already have, there are plenty of discounted items available right now. The Grotti X80 Proto and the Ocelot Lynx are each 25 percent off at Legendary Motorsport, and all garage properties are also discounted with a 25 percent off sticker.
If you don’t have a bunker, now might be the time to fix that. Different bunkers have different discounts, but there are three that have been reduced in price for the next week. The bunker discounts are as follows:
Farmhouse Bunker – 30 percent off
Smoke Tree Road Bunker – 25 percent off
Grapeseed Bunker – 10 percent off
The premium race and time trial race for the week has also changed. The new premium race is Target, which is locked to the Ruiner 2000. The new time trial is Up N Atom. Both races give big GTA$ and RP bonuses, and can be found either in the Quick Job app on your phone or in Legion Square.
